Scholarship winner

The Chicago Area Healthcare Recruiters (CAHR) announced Sharee Murphy, a coronary care technician at Rush North Shore Medical Center, Skokie, IL, was awarded a scholarship to pursue her nursing degree. Murphy was sponsored by Desbra Husberg, president elect of CAHR and human resources generalist at Rush North Shore.

In addition, Barbara R. Croak, MS, RN, director of critical care, patient care services at Rush North Shore, wrote a letter of recommendation for Murphy, describing her as a "dedicated woman who consistently provides skilled and compassionate care."

Murphy will pursue her studies in the associate degree in nursing program at Kennedy-King College, Chicago.
