Be a part of the Physician Recruitment Office for one of the largest medical groups in the Chicago area.

As a member of the NorthShore University HealthSystem Medical Group’s Physician Recruitment Office, the Physician Recruiter actively contributes to the successful recruitment of primary care and specialty physicians who will have a positive influence on the patients and families they serve. As a Physician Recruiter, you will successfully complete assigned physician searches from initial recruitment through final negotiations. This includes the preparation of comprehensive profiles of open positions; development and implementation of targeted candidate acquisition strategies; candidate phone screening and referencing; facilitation of on-site interviews; and oversight of the offer and contract.

This position is based at NorthShore’s Skokie office, just outside Chicago, IL. NorthShore Medical Group has more than 700 physicians which practice in 4 hospitals and over 75 clinics throughout the area. NorthShore University HealthSystem includes Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, and Skokie Hospitals, as well as the NorthShore Home Services, NorthShore Medical Group, NorthShore Research Institute, and the NorthShore Foundation. Attending physicians are on faculty at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years of experience in recruitment. Clinical healthcare recruitment experience preferred. Preferred candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with physicians and business partners at all levels of the organization. Advanced technological skills are a must.

We are currently seeking a Director of Human Resources. This position will supervise all functions of a smaller Human Resources department including hiring and termination of employees, administering hospital personnel policies, handling employee relation issues, recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee functions and employee transactions. This position will also be a member of the Senior Regional HR Leadership team and Executive Council of the hospital.

  • BA degree in business or related field and Master's degree preferred.
  • Three years experience in Human Resources leadership preferred. Health care experience preferred.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
